about me and my jewelry:
My name is Kathy, I'm now a stay at home, happy housewife since I left my job at General Motors.
I love wearing, designing and creating fun jewelry, it's my passion.
My inspiration to make jewelry started with my past years' clients that I have designed for, manufactured and sold their "Collector Pins". ♥The Effanbee Doll Company♥, ♥Chrysler Corporation♥, Music Artists such as ♥Van Halen♥, ♥The Woodward Dream Cruise♥ are just to name a few. I'm thankful to each of them for the opportunities they have enriched me with.
I think you will find my jewelry very cute. I've manufactured some of my own pretty designs into Collector Pins too.
I design much of my own artwork and I also work with very talented Artists. The Lady Headvase images I use to make my jewelry when not from my own collection is strictly used with permission, courtesy of the Headvases' original owner.
My love for the "handcrafted" feel and look of handmade jewelry also allows me to go wild with ideas and embellishments if I choose to. I love that much of it is OOAK as rarely, no 2 pieces are alike.
You will notice some of my jewelry is purposely made to look aged and tattered. I use a variety of new and vintage glass and plastic beads, threads, buttons, bows, crystal fine glitter, antique jewelry pieces and so on, which makes each piece of jewelry very special and one of a kind. Some of the adornments that are not glued on, I sew on by hand.
I love everything I make and I sell everything I love.
A portion of each Breast Cancer Awarness Jewelry sale will be donated to charity.
I also like to donate to Dog Rescue Charities.
I'm also deeply inspired by a designer named Wendy (the animals she makes are GoRGeouS), I love dogs and I love Vintage Tattered Stuffed Animals (thanks to Wendy) and Dolls!!
